Guardianships

A Guardianship is a legal relationship established by the New Jersey Probate Court giving one person (the Guardian) the power to make personal and financial decisions for another person deemed to be mentally incapacitated (the Ward). Guardians are appointed when the Court determines that individuals are unable to care for themselves and/or their assets because of mental illness, mental retardation, or physical incapacity. We are experienced in assisting individuals seeking to be appointed as guardian of a loved one.
